TRINITY ASTEROID    

A burning, chaotic energy mass of death hurtling towards a living planet, the Trinity Asteroid is led on its path of devastation by three much smaller asteroids.  The planet now forever remains a gray muddy mass void of the life it once held in its arms.  This work is comprised of a sterling silver body with a high dome bizarre rutilated quartz gem over a 14KY gold plate, representing the main asteroid.  Beneath it are three gold African tourmalines in 18KY gold bezels.  The dead planet is depicted with an exquisite Oregon Owyhee Jasper that reportedly is no longer available, bezel set with 18KY gold.  This piece is meant to be worn low between cleavage and includes a stunning 20" sterling snake necklace.  No photo can do this piece justice as when viewed under strong light, the rutilated quartz asteroid produces an effect that looks as if electric sparks are flying all around the inside of the stone.  Approximately 4.5", this is a masterpiece surely to disrupt any social event worn to.
