ROMAN
IMPERIAL SILVER DENARIUS COIN RING IN
14KY GOLD 138
- 161 A.D. This ancient Roman silver denarius coin was minted
during the reign of Antoninus Pius and features an exquisitely detailed
profile of the emperor. The beautiful open filigree of the 14KY gold
ring it is mounted in makes for a gorgeous setting. Antoninus Pius was the husband of Faustina Senior.
During his rule of 23
peaceful years, Antoninus Pius organized great festivities to celebrate Rome's 900th
anniversary! This specific coin is in the finest condition of any
ancient silver coin I currently have in inventory. Its grade can
easily be considered "mint" if not "uncirculated".
Overall diameter of ring face is approximately 21 mm. A
stunning piece that looks much better than these photos can show. CRR001
