ROMAN CONSTANTINE COIN PENDANT

IN 14KY GOLD WITH STERLING SILVER DECORATION

An excellent example of the artistic uniqueness of ancient coinage.  This Roman bronze coin from the 4th century AD is set in 14 KY gold accented with a bright sterling silver beaded edge.  From the period of the rule of Constantine, the first Christian Roman emperor. The reverse has a picture of a soldier leading a captive enemy soldier after a victory.  Perfect patina highlights the excellent detail!  Total pendant diameter is slightly under 3/4".
