This has got to be one of the most beautiful pieces I offer outside of the Masterpiece Collection items.  It just emanates great warmth and glow and looks so rich and classic.  The gold pendant  setting features a snakeskin design around the silver denarius coin.  The portrait of Faustina Senior holds incredible detail as the overall condition of this coin is quite remarkable.  Faustina was the wife of the great Roman emperor Antoninus Pius.  During his rule of 23 peaceful years, he organized great festivities to celebrate Rome's 900th anniversary!  Highly recommended!  Overall diameter is approximately 23 mm.
