ROMAN IMPERIAL SILVER DENARIUS COIN PENDANT

Superb in every way!  This ancient Roman silver denarius coin was minted during the reign of Antoninus Pius and features an exquisitely detailed profile of the emperor.  The solid 14KY gold pendant  setting is hand-made.  Antoninus Pius was the husband of Faustina Senior.  Silver coins of her portrait are also available.  The condition of this coin is quite remarkable.  During his rule of 23 peaceful years, he organized great festivities to celebrate Rome's 900th anniversary!  Overall diameter is approximately 21 mm.
