What an incredibly unique alternative to a cross pendant!  This genuine bronze anonymous bronze Folles was called such because the ruling emperor was not depicted on the obverse but instead, Christ.  This particular issue is rarely encountered.  Furthermore, it is an exquisite example with not only excellent detail, but superb patina to highlight the design.  The reverse (not shown) shows Christ holding the Gospels.  An impressive and stately antiquity of ancient Christianity and highly recommended.
